The Coffee Guy

"The Coffee Guy - Kawakawa" has been trading since December 6th 2010 and has been operating at Johnson Park, Kawakawa at the junction of State Highways 1 &11 (to Paihia), each Weekday from 6am to 2pm.

You may have seen his unique and rather funky "Coffee Capsule" or already sampled his fabulous coffee! BOI Wedding and Fashion Expo is lucky enough to have him on board on the 24th September at The Turner Centre Kerikeri to provide us with our favourite coffee fix!.

"The Coffee Guy" has been providing hot steaming Expresso Coffees to Local and Travellers in around Northland, including Overseas Tourists, TV Celebrities, and Members of Parliment, also servicing many large events and functions around the region.

BOI Wedding and Fashion Expo Ticket Sales will be donated to Bay Of Islands Riding For The Disabled

Who does the RDA help?
Riding for the Disabled caters for people of all ages. They may be referred from therapists, doctors, specialists, other health professionals, teachers, caregivers and referrals from parents and riders themselves.
•Are physically challenged with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, paraplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injury, stroke or have visual or hearing impairment
•Have intellectual disabilities or multiple disabilities
•Have learning disabilities

Benefits of Riding
RDA Riders attend riding to achieve a specific goal, whether it is therapeutic, educational or sporting. Riding develops, improves and promotes:\

•Balance and coordination, posture and muscle tone
•Concentration, self discipline and self-esteem
•Perception and spatial awareness
•Communication and social skills
•Independence and encourages decision making

            Bay of Islands Riding for the Disabled is a non-profit making organisation.

BOI RDA does not receive any government funding and relies entirely on the generosity of the public for support.
BOI RDA charges only a minimal fee for their service which does not cover their running costs. Therefore, their volunteers have to spend many hours and resources on fundraising and sourcing corporate funding to enable the group to carry on operating.
